Doing Gender-Justice in Language Education: Open-access materials and coalitional efforts

This workshop will center on the presentation of a series of open-access publications and materials created for teachers of all languages, based on data collected from French languages and learners. At the end of the session, attendees will engage in collaborative exploration of nonbinary languaging data in a gender-just pedagogical framework, leveraging an open-access introduction to gender-just applied linguistics for language educators. Participants will be offered a series of data-driven pedagogical exercises which we will complete together. We will discuss how they might be adapted for use in our contexts of teaching and learning.
