    Experiential & Service Learning

Here, you can take part in the very activities you may one day do professionally. In experiential learning courses you’ll write policy briefs, sequence genomes, make documentaries, and much more. Through service learning programs you’ll improve lives and communities. And studying overseas will help you understand not only languages, but how other cultures make sense of the world in ways you might have never thought about.

    Internships

Student internships help you develop career skills and meet professional contacts. They also let you test the waters — an internship can confirm that this is your true passion… or you might find out it’s not the path you want to ultimately take.

Be it part of an existing program like our Gateway Internships or one of your own design, Career Pathways supports you in identifying, landing, and funding your student internship.

    Networking

Career fairs, industry expos, alumni mixers; there is no shortage of events on campus — and online — where you can connect with people working in your desired field. Specialized panels hosted by recruiters will break down the day-to-day responsibilities of a specific career while also giving you opportunities to meet someone looking to hire talented USC Dornsife students — that could be you!
