Scholarships and Grants for Continuing Students
Continuing Student ScholarshipsIf you’re a continuing student who has declared a USC Dornsife major and plan to be enrolled during the next academic year, you may be eligible for a one-year award.
ExL AwardThe ExL Award supports Dornsife undergraduates interested in participating in experiential learning opportunities such as service-learning, professional conferences, or overseas studies. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or better and a declared major at USC Dornsife.
Half-Century Trojans ScholarshipContinuing undergraduate students who are the direct descendants (grandchild or great-grandchild) of USC alumni may be eligible for this renewable annual scholarship of $10,000.
Skull and Dagger ScholarshipAwarded to students who demonstrate significant campus and community leadership, the Skull and Dagger Foundation awards scholarships of $5,000 to continuing undergraduate or graduate students at USC.
Gateway Internship Pay It Forward ScholarshipBy gaining real world experience through an internship, students add to their academic pursuits and strengthen career skills. The Pay It Forward scholarship is awarded to sophomores, juniors, and seniors at USC Dornsife who participate in an unpaid internship at a non-profit 501 (c) organization or government agency.
Fisher Fellows ProgramFor students with financial need who are the first generation in their family to attend college, the USC Dornsife Fisher Fellowship is a service and leadership program that provides up to $10,000 for international travel, field research, internships, and academic conferences over three years.
Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship ProgramSophomores and juniors who represent minorities in higher education and who are interested in diversifying university faculties are invited to apply for this fellowship, which provides support for pursuing a PhD in fields where diversity has not been historically prevalent.
Scholarships for Graduating Seniors
Dornsife Scholars ProgramHigh-achieving graduating seniors whose major course of study is in USC Dornsife and who aspire to have a positive impact on the world are eligible for this $10,000 award toward graduate or professional studies.
Renaissance ScholarsWhen you major and minor — or double major — in two widely different fields, you gain unique perspective that prepares you to meet with confidence the challenges of the 21st century. The Renaissance Scholars award recognizes these students upon graduation.
Discovery ScholarsUSC undergraduates make significant contributions to their disciplines long before graduation. The Discovery Scholar award is presented upon graduation to students who create exceptional new scholarship or artistic works during their time at USC.
