Biography
Nicholas (Nick) Demjan is a first year Ph.D. student in the Department of American Studies & Ethnicity. Nicholas graduated with a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023. His research is focused on HIV/AIDS activism, the intersections and tensions of race, gender, and class within these activist spaces, and questions regarding state control and public health with particular attention to queer history in an American and global context.
