In the 22 years since the ASE PhD program was founded, we have graduated 86 PhD students. We currently have 37 students in various stages of their graduate work. Many of our students have received national fellowships: 19 Ford, 16 Haynes, 2 ACLS/Mellon, 2 Mellon, 4 AAUW, 2 Fulbright, 1 NSF, 1 Truman and 1 SSHRC. Our students publish in peer reviewed journals, participate in national and international conferences and do research around the world.
