Biography
Jason Tuan Vu (he/they) is a PhD candidate and Provost Fellow in the Department of American Studies and Ethnicity at the University of Southern California. His research charts the entanglements of militarism, development, and ecological ruin in the formation of US empire across Asia and the Pacific. His current project focuses on the revitalization of militarized landscapes in Vietnam since the late 20th century and the multispecies relations that have endured within such spaces of ongoing precarity.
