USC Sea Grant’s work takes us from the smallest members of the coastal ecosystems—phytoplankton and zooplankton—to the largest members—whales—who use our productive coastline as an essential migratory and feeding grounds. We are particularly interested in native species restorations and the impacts of a changing climate and anthropogenic stress on populations.
