USC Sociology Department: New Chair Introduction!
“We are fortunate to start the year under the leadership of our new Chair, Jen Hook. Jen is the Florence Everline Professor of Sociology and has been an integral leader in our department since her arrival in 2012. Jen has previously served our department as Vice Chair, Director of Graduate Studies (twice), and as a member of the Executive Committee. Beyond her service to our USC community, Jen has held leadership positions nationally, including her current role as President of the Work and Family Researchers Network.
