This innovative interdisciplinary Ph.D. program offers the unique opportunity for scholars to embark on careers at the intersections of public health, urban and global health, social and cultural geography, remote sensing, epidemiology and demography. This interdisciplinary program draws upon world-class faculty from across the University of Southern California, most especially the USC Dornsife Department of Sociology, the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences (formerly the Department of Preventive Medicine) of the Keck School of Medicine of USC, and the USC Dornsife Spatial Sciences Institute.
