Talk to me about: The obvious one being Spain, whether general or specific questions. Ask me about Spanish food, public transportation, or customs. Or get more personal with my experiences with my host family, why I chose Spain, or what it was like navigating the country as an East Asian in a predominantly Caucasian demographic. I had an amazing experience, and I’d love to clear up any doubts you might have about studying abroad!
Advice: Don’t feel like you have to travel far on every trip, especially in a country like Spain. There are plenty of adventures right around you if you know where to look. Whether it’s experiencing Via Ferratas in Potes or skiing just two hours from Madrid, I can help point you in the right direction. And if you’re trying to improve your Spanish, grocery stores are a great place to kill some time and learn some new vocabulary. Make the most of your time abroad—it’s a rare chance to live and experience a new country and culture as a college student, when responsibilities are still light and you’re still young.
