As a 17-year-old excited about my future at USC, I knew I wanted to take full advantage of USC’s study abroad opportunities. During my freshman and sophomore years, I meticulously researched various programs to find the perfect fit. I wanted a program that would offer a stark contrast to life in the U.S., immerse me in a vibrant culture, and provide a quality education. By spring of my sophomore year, I chose USC Madrid.

The program checked all my boxes: exceptional education, easy travel, and a beautiful culture that pushed me out of my comfort zone and facilitated personal growth. Madrid, with its rich heritage and multicultural vibe, captivated me. Living there for five months gave me some of my favorite memories and taught me invaluable lessons I’ll carry with me forever.
