The Latinx Geographies Research Cluster will encourage thinking about politics of land in relation to food, race, capitalism, and planning. The events we propose spotlight interdisciplinary scholars investigating Afro-Mexican ecologies, political economy of Latinx urban life, and creative knowledge production interrogating land dispossession and commodification.
