Professional Development Fund

We are excited to announce that USC Dornsife HR with the generous support of Interim Dean El-Naggar and Vice Dean Perez has launched a professional development fund for staff.

The fund is mean to supplement any departmental funds for staff professional development. Here are some of the details:

• Must be directly related to employee’s job duties or the academic/administrative unit’s work.
• Applications will be accepted on a first come, first approved basis.
• If approved, a staff member may receive up to $750 for professional development related expenses.
• A staff member is only eligible to receive support every three years.
• The fund is limited to benefits eligible staff (staff, fixed-term staff, 50% and above effort).
• To be eligible, must be past their 90-day evaluation period, not on leave and in good standing.
