Summary Statement of Research Interests

I’m a second-year Ph.D. student in Clinical Science, and I’m primarily interested in investigating how deficits in emotion regulation contribute to the development, maintenance, and recurrence of affective disorders such as depression. I’m also interested in exploring mechanisms that underlie successful emotion regulation, with a particular focus on the role of cognitive control in emotion regulation.
