Ask Me About: South America, being No Sabo Latina, Chilean culture/slang/sightseeing/universities, travel while studying abroad, food, homestays, anything really! I learned so much during the semester and am happy to answer literally any questions, they don’t have to be related to the Santiago program! I love telling my story and increasing excitement for programs in Latam so if you’re afraid or unsure of traversing Latin America, share your hesitations with me! I am down to chat about anything.

Advice: Don’t let yourself come up with more reasons to not go because honestly this experience was worth so many of the little inconveniences that came along with it. Your mindset and priorities of life will change and suddenly all the little thing will feel less important. It IS possible for you, trust, even if it doesn’t seem like it. And once you’re there, just embrace it! Let yourself separate from your old stressors and life rut and become fully immersed in this new reality because it’ll be over before you know it. Do the things, see the places, talk to the people, eat the food, and document every second of it so you can replay it for the rest of your days!
