Talk to me about: How to study abroad as a Viterbi student, taking engineering courses in the UK, dealing with homesickness, the best study spots in Brighton, how to become friends with both local and exchange students, how to pack for traveling in just a backpack, forcing yourself to explode your norms, and my favorite and least favorite London Tube lines.

Advice: Here are my three pieces of advice: 1) Get out of your comfort zone and stay there: being in a foreign environment will feel uncomfortable—but that’s okay! Keep trying new things, ask other exchange students questions about their daily lives back home, and let yourself be a bit more spontaneous with your time. 2) Make use of good public transportation: take the train to explore a small town you’ve never heard of, or fly to a different country for the weekend. 3) Keep a log of your time abroad to see how much you grow! (I wrote email newsletters every month to my friends and family back home!)
