Talk to me about: Don’t hesitate to reach out with any concerns about official paperwork like applying for your visa, registering for courses that count for IR and political science, and budgeting. But I can also share my experience and tips related to fun activities like concerts, music shows, shopping, and birthday cafes!
Advice: At first it might seem intimidating to live in another country for a whole semester, but personally, it was the best decision I made at USC! As a first-generation and low-income Hispanic student, I was worried about the financial side of the experience, but soon I found out it was definitely possible to afford. Studying abroad away from my family was difficult but I got to meet so many new people from all over the world and enjoy a new culture. I believe everyone’s biggest regret was not staying longer in Seoul!
And never be afraid to ask questions. Everyone at USC and Yonsei is rooting for you to have the best experience abroad!
