Talk to me about: Whatever you’d like! I am here to answer any questions you may have about what it’s like taking a break from your lifestyle at USC, whether that is the clubs you are involved in or classes you normally would take. As someone who identifies as first-generation and a woman of color, I am happy to speak on my experiences studying abroad for extended periods of time.

Advice: Do your research! do a LOT of research. Talk to alumni of programs you are interested in doing study abroad for. Most importantly, keep an open mind–you never know what you might find out! Get to know what life will be like in your specific program. For Maastricht, you can expect to have a “small-town” feel in a wonderful country like the Netherlands! The people are friendly and spirited, and there is so much to explore in just the little things. Some of my favorite memories from study abroad come from celebrating cultural traditions such as Carnival, King’s Day, etc.
