SPAN 409 Social Justice class visited the Garden School Foundation at 24^th Street Elementary School to learn about their work. and do some volunteer gardening work. Garden School Foundation is a South L.A. community-based organization that provides in-depth garden-based education to youth at Title I schools in Los Angeles, strengthening connections between food justice, environmental stewardship, and community health.
