LAIC Outreach Committee Description
The goal of the LAIC Outreach Committee is to create, maintain, and strengthen the connection of the LAIC department with our surrounding communities, both on campus and beyond. Through the support of service-based outreach programs and the organization of events, we urge LAIC students to engage with the study of latinx languages and cultures outside of the classroom while promoting the importance of latinx languages and cultures to other community members. Current examples of the LAIC Outreach Committee’s work include the LAIC Film Festival and LAIC Language Ambassadors.
