My research explores coming of age narratives, Bildungsromane, across different genres of literature and role playing games. I am especially interested in the theorizing of maturation and societal (re)integration for protagonists from historically marginalized backgrounds.
I am also working on projects that integrate tabletop role playing game mechanics into digital classroom resources.
