JET Programme
Initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Home Affairs in cooperation with local governments in Japan, the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program is designed to invite foreign youth to Japan and provide them with opportunities to teach language, and sports at junior and senior high schools all over the Japan, or to engage in international exchange activities at local governments (cited from Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
