Tax Deductible Amounts for Chamber Day Donations

The IRS allows you to deduct donations to 501(c)(3) organizations like USC minus the cost of any of the items or services that were received. Consult with your accountant or tax preparer to be sure about what you can and can not deduct. The following is a list of the various Chamber Day events and their donation amounts to the Chamber:

• Chamber Day Boat:

  • Donation to Chamber - $115 per Boat Spot

• In-Person Chamber Evening Seat:

  • Donation to Chamber - $85 per Seat

• Very Generous Diver (V.G.D.) Spot:

  • Donation to Chamber - $40 per Spot

• Virtual Chamber Evening "Seat":

  • Donation to Chamber - $95 per "Seat"

• Flying Dutchman:

  • Donation to Chamber - $95 per spot

• Chamber Challenge:

  • Donation to Chamber - Entire amount of donation

If you sign up on-line your sign-up confirmation will show the amount you can claim as a donation for tax purposes.
