Talk to me about: Anything at all! Traveling as a person of color, a woman, navigating white spaces, making friends, budgeting while abroad, struggling being away from home, course rigor, etc! I was very hesitant about going to Maastricht because I was scared but it has been one of the best experiences in my life and I am so so glad I didn’t let that fear hold me back. Study abroad has been such a transformative experience and I really learned how to live away from home as someone who is from the LA area and it taught me a lot about independence and doing things on my own!

Advice: Take the risk! I was so on the edge about going abroad and I wasn’t really set on going until the last minute but I am really really glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone. Your time abroad is truly a once in a lifetime experience so make the most out of it. Make friends with locals, try new foods, solo travel, learn a new language, etc! I look back on my time abroad so fondly and I have made some life-long friends. Please reach out!!
