Talk to me about: Anything! Especially if you are worried about something or not sure about Greece as a location. Greece was never on my radar for studying abroad but looking back I would make the same choice in a heartbeat. If you want more info on the culture in Greece, the people, the housing situation, learning Greek, what traveling is like, how amazing the food is, or whatever else is on your mind, please reach out!

Advice: First – visit as many islands as possible!! The Greek islands are so easy and affordable to get to while you are in Athens. Getting to explore them during the off-season and practicing your Greek with locals in the most stunning locations is the best way to immerse yourself in the culture. Second – plan as many family style dinners as you can manage!! The food in Greece is the best I’ve ever had and incredibly affordable. Get your friends together, order as much as you want, share everything, try new things, and leave 3 hours later being friends with the waiter and a plan to do it all again next week. Third – go to all the cultural events!! Whether put on by the school or just a holiday you’ve never heard of (like smoky meat Thursday) Greece has an excuse to party about everything. All the celebrations are so much fun and Greek people love to share their traditions with visitors who want to learn more.
