To make an appointment with a new advisor, you’ll need to refer yourself for advising:

  • Go to the “Advisor Connect tab” in AdviseUSC
  • Click “Create a New Case” and select “Get a referral to an academic department or special program”
  • Search “Overseas Studies” as the referral program, and select your referral reason.
  • In the comments, please indicate the program or region you’re interested in, or the topic you want to discuss.
  • You’ll get a confirmation email when we receive your request.

Please allow 1 business day for us to process your request. Then, the assigned advisor(s) will appear in your advising team in AdviseUSC.
