I know from personal experience how daunting the study abroad experience might feel – from choosing a “uni” to study at to wondering if/how you’ll make friends – but I promise it was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my college experience! I’m here to assuage any of your worries!

Advice: Keep an open mind and say yes to everything! It’s totally normal to feel lonely at times, but some of my closest friendships and greatest memories during my semester abroad came from saying yes to something spontaneous, even when I wasn’t feeling particularly social that day. It truly is a once in a lifetime experience, so I encourage you to try new things, take advantage of all the resources available to you, and push the limits of your comfort zone – it’s the best way to grow!
