Biography

I study paleobiology and geology, and my dissertation is focused on variation between individuals within single species through time, including sex differences, and the origins and radiation of socially-selected traits like display structures and armaments. I mainly work with vertebrates such as therapsids, mammals, and archosaurs, ranging from the Permian (~300 million years ago) to the modern day, working with researchers in Earth Sciences, Keck School of Medicine, and Biological Sciences. I am also a student in residence at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles.
