Justine Grabiec receives Distinguished Service Award from City of Los Angeles
Justine was honored for her leadership and commitment to serving her fellow students and community
USC Earth Sciences PhD student, Justine Grabiec, was awarded a Distinguished Service Award from the City of Los Angeles on April 27, 2023.
Justine received a Distinguished Service Award from the USC Volunteer Center and the City of Los Angeles for her consistent work during Friends & Neighbors Days throughout the academic year. She spent time packing boxes of food for the community with the LA Food Bank and working in a community garden with Community Services Unlimited. She encourages anyone interested in community building and partnership to join these events – they’re only a few hours of your time, you can volunteer in a variety of ways, and they happen monthly.
