USC Study Abroad Programs

Overseas Studies at the University of Southern California offers study opportunities in Tokyo and Nagoya. Each program has a unique character and strength, and all provide the chance for USC undergraduates to embark on the adventure of exploration and learning.

Maymester

Global East Asia (GEA) is a four week upper-division research course with a study abroad component for USC undergraduate students, made possible by the East Asian Studies Center and USC Dornsife. This intensive program gives students the opportunity to live, study and travel between USC and Japan for two weeks in each country. Students from all majors, schools and language backgrounds are eligible to apply and experience East Asia in a unique way.
