Ramiro Euyoque, Jr.
Executive Director of Business Operations
Ramiro Euyoque Jr. is the executive director of business operations at the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences.
Before joining USC Dornsife, Ramiro was the associate dean for business services at Loyola Marymount University, School of Education (LMU SOE) and was responsible for budget and finance, strategic planning, human resources, risk management, and enrollment management.
Prior to LMU, Ramiro was the director of operations at St. Anne School, a private PK-8 school in Orange County, CA. Ramiro was responsible for capital projects planning, business continuity planning, renovations, maintenance, and campus security.
Ramiro also spent 3+ years at Cisco Systems as a planning analyst and a Financial analyst and, began his working career as a mechanical engineer for a private engineering firm, designing and building machinery for the roll-forming industry.
Ramiro earned an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University.

Karla De Souza Dias
Deputy Director, Departmental Operations
Karla Souza Dias has a bachelor’s degree in physics and master’s degree in mathematical physics from UFMG in Brazil, and master’s degrees in physics and electrical engineering from USC. She worked in physics instructional labs and the Physics Demonstration Lab. In 1997 she joined the Business Office as a department business manager. She has managed many of the departments and institutes at USC Dornsife and has served in variety of university committees. Karla has a solid understanding of university systems and policies, a strong background in grant management and administrative experience.

April Miller
Deputy Director, Departmental Operations
April Miller brings 20 years of experience in academia, 14 of those years with USC, in areas of research management, health education, fiscal administration and business operations. She earned both a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with an minor in Community Health Education from California State University, Long Beach. She started her career in education as a Certified Health Education Specialist and Program Manager with the Orange County Department of Education and part-time lecturer in the Health Science Department at CSULB. Approaching 8 years with USC Dornsife, April continues working closely with a number of its academic departments, institutes and centers, assisting in the success of its programs as well as supporting faculty, staff and students. One of her greater accomplishments since her time with the college is creating the Dornsife Welcome Center; a front office design which provides a friendly first impression customer experience and a well-organized new-hire process for all Dornsife faculty, staff and students.

Christine Patugan
Deputy Director, Departmental Operations
Christine Patugan graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and brings over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. Prior to joining USC Dornsife, she spent a decade in accounting for various publicly and privately held companies.

Terese Marcotte
Deputy Director, Departmental Operations
Terese Marcotte holds over 23 years of combined administrative, operational, fiduciary, program development, personal and management experience in research, education and healthcare. Her experience also includes four years of prior experience as an adjunct professor at a private college teaching undergraduate business management courses. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management as well as a graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) from UC-Irvine Paul Merage School of Business. Terese joined USC Dornsife in October 2016. As a Deputy Director of Departmental Operations, she manages approximately 20 departments, institutes, centers and administration units.

Jay Wollenhaupt
Deputy Director, Departmental Operations
Jay Wollenhaupt joins USC with over 20 years of combined management, facilities, personnel processes and budgetary experience. Most recently, he worked 17 years for the City of Glendale as the Administrative Manager for the Library, Arts & Culture Department. He earned a Master of Science degree in Counseling while working as a department administrator for California State University, Northridge where he previously earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services and Deaf Studies. He began his path in management and administration as the Director for Clare Foundation’s Sign of Recovery, one of the country’s first alcohol and drug programs for the deaf. Jay started his career with USC in December of 2019. As a Deputy Director with Dornsife, he manages 23 departments, institutes, programs and centers.
