Jackie Agnello Wong is the Program Specialist at PERE/CSII and has been with us since 2007. She leads our administrative team by facilitating organizational development, planning events, designing reports, and supporting communications. After ten years of working with social justice research centers, Agnello is passionate about lifting up community concerns to inform policy decisions. In her capacity at PERE, she has organized large-scale discussions on environmental justice, immigrant integration, and social movement organizing, featuring speakers such as: Connie Rice, Bob Moses, Secretary Hillary Clinton, Geoffrey Canada, Rev. James Lawson, Angela Glover Blackwell, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and many others.
She also supports the quarterly convening of the Council on Immigrant Integration along with the California Community Foundation, which brings together a diverse set of leaders in business, law enforcement, education, and government to participate in discussions on shaping immigrant integration in Los Angeles.
Jackie Agnello Wong graduated from the Rockwood Art of Leadership program which teaches skills and tools that help leaders overcome organizational challenges; inspire and align individuals and organizations toward producing quality outcomes; develop collaborative skills; decrease "burn-out"; and create organizations that celebrate sustainability and diversity. She has a Masters in Public Administration from University of Southern California and holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Jackie is also currently serving as commissioner on the Los Angeles County Quality and Productivity Commission appointed by Supervisor Hilda Solis in June 2015.
