Description of Research

Summary Statement of Research Interests

Professor Willard studies metaphysics, contemporary European philosophy, ethics and the history of ethics. Special topics: The status of moral knowledge (absence thereof) in contemporary society. I am completing a book, THE DISAPPEARANCE OF MORAL KNOWLEDGE, and continuing to write on the Philosophy of Edmund Husserl
