Biography

Steven is a National Science Foundation SBE Postdoctoral Fellow in the sociology department at USC. His research examines how housing shapes family wellbeing, and he uses in-depth interviews with renters to show how the affordable housing crisis widens inequalities among families. Much of his work focuses on Latino/a/x immigrants and seeks to bridge research on immigration with work in family and urban sociology.
