Cindy Yang at London School of Economics

London is really a diverse, inclusive, and exciting city. There are so many things going on in the city every day, and every day is different. My favorite things to do are going to theatres, parks, cafes, and Chinatown. In the UK, my friends and I visited Hastings, Dover, Edinburgh, Canterbury, and the Scottish highlands—these natural scenery and historical venues are unbelievably beautiful.

Studying in the LSE General Course allowed me to meet many talented general course students from different universities and nationalities and also integrate into the LSE student community. Spending a year really allows me to experience living in London. I sincerely appreciate the friendship, mentorship, and unforgettable experiences here.

The classes at LSE were very intense and challenging. It took discipline and effort to keep up with the higher-level courses, and I explored new fields like Competition Law and International Relations. I’d advise the students to really enjoy their time in London because the year flew by so fast. LSE and London offer so many great things. LSE has one of the most rigorous curricula and knowledgeable professors who are famous experts in their fields. London has a diverse culture and fantastic food and is in proximity to other cities and Europe in general. The friendship here is one of my unforgettable memories!
