    Caitlyn Chung is a 4th year PhD Candidate in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at University of Southern California (USC). Her research examines how contemporary queer and feminist films address, critique, and open up new avenues of engaging trauma in South Korea cinematic historiography. She is also interested in the role of the archive and how the film archive and its canon engages systems of gendered and sexual citizenship.
