Eden is a Data Analyst II at the Equity Research Institute. With a strong foundation in qualitative, quantitative, and cartographic methods, Eden brings a multidimensional approach to research issues at the intersection social, racial, and economic inequalities. Within ERI, Eden has worked on the development of new Equity Atlas indicators on the environment, homelessness, and workforce equity that seek to empower local and statewide organizations’ advocacy efforts. As an immigrant himself, Eden values and appreciates ERI’s focus on Immigrant Inclusion and Racial Justice. By joining their lived experience and research expertise, Eden has contributed to various research projects that focus on immigrant inclusion including the evaluation of RepresentLA, the Asian American Immigrant Inclusion project, and the expansion of the California food Assistance Program to undocumented elderly Californians.

Prior to joining ERI, Eden was in programming and research roles at nonprofit organizations that aim to address social inequalities. Eden holds an interdisciplinary arts and sciences degree from Quest University.
