November 20, 2020 | This half-day conference, held virtually on Zoom on November 20, 2020, celebrated the legacy of Eileen Chang (1920–1995), one of the most influential Chinese writers of the 20th century, who composed short stories, novels, essays, and screenplays. This event featured leading international scholars from USC, Duke, and Chinese University of Hong Kong, who examined her life and achievements, as well as her impact on Chinese and Asian American art, literature, and society.
