EASC Guest Speaker Series
The East Asian Studies Center will provide support for our affiliated faculty to invite guest speakers for the 2025-2026 academic year. The purpose of this funding opportunity is to help faculty enrich their course content by adding a guest lecture on a related topic, as well as engage the wider EASC community to participate in an academic event.
To apply, faculty will be asked to fill out the application form below with a brief description of the proposed guest lecture (include whether a domestic honorarium or two-nights hotel is preferred). We encourage faculty to list co-sponsoring units if they are seeking additional support.
Preference is given to applicants who are active in the EASC community and invite the wider community to the event.
The deadline to apply is 5:00pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
