Can you tell us about your research focus or interests?

I focus on Korean literature, as well as feminist & queer theory, horror studies, and ecocriticism.

Do you have any advice for incoming students?

Take any opportunity you can! Being in graduate school allows you a lot of freedom and flexibility to pursue your research interests while meeting world-class professors. Go to that talk, stop by professor’s office hours, and most importantly enjoy all of the knowledge you’re going to gain!

What are your plans after graduation?

I will be pursuing a Ph.D. and continuing my research in Korean literature!
