East Asian pop cultures and their relations to contemporary Thai society( K-pop and nationalism), the construction of modern Thai identity through media. historical perspectives on the development of Thai cultural identity, comparative studies of Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Korean nationalist historiographies (the interpretation of civilization during the Imperial era).
