Summary Statement of Research Interests
Jiwoong Choi is a Ph.D. student in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Southern California. His research interests include East Asian cinemas and literatures in a transnational context, particularly as the articulations of collaborations and intimacies between Korea and Japan from the colonial era to present day. He holds an M.A. from Yale University and a B.A. from the University of Tokyo.
