Biography

Nicholas P. Fernacz is a third year Ph.D. student in the Department. Nicholas’s research interests lie in Taiwan cinema and his dissertation project seeks to complicate the history of Taiwan cinema through the notion of illegibility, modes of cinematic audio, and nationalism. His writing appears in Journal of Chinese Cinemas.
