Biography

J Francis Cerretani’s latest research Cerretani’s is concerned with climate, transnationalism, labour, and changing landscapes in the Mediterranean. Cerretani comes to USC after a Fulbright-IIE research project that capped ten years of research beginning as an undergrad at Sarah Lawrence College and further developed during graduate studies at Goldsmiths, University of London. The project used participatory and multimodal methods to look at informal learning centers run by and for transnational Rohingya communities from Myanmar who are seeking refuge in Malaysia.
