The “Images Out of Time” Seminar received a Humanities Initiative grant from the National Endowment of the Humanities. These grants are intended to strengthen the teaching and study of the humanities in higher education through the development or enhancement of humanities programs, courses, and resources. Our seminar was one of 33 HI grants to be awarded by the NEH in 2022. Over three years, it will fund our programming and development of a visual and material culture curriculum in USC’s Thematic Option Program.
