Summary Statement of Research Interests
My main research interests are focused on the representations of the tension between Russia and the West that rose to prominence after WWII. The intersection of national, gender, and sexual identities and their role in the construction of the Other in Russian literature and cinema of the Cold War and post-Soviet periods are of great concern to me.
