A Collaborative Effort
The Pre-Health Advising Office, in partnership with the Keck School of Medicine’s Allied Health Mentorship Program, hosts Keck Mentor Day, a popular event among our pre-medical students. This annual event provides USC students the opportunity to learn about the Keck School of Medicine of USC directly from students, professors, and administrators as well as their own personal observations.
Personal Connection
Attendees network with medical student mentors, seek advice and guidance, and get a true sense of what life is like as a medical student. Hear from current medical students about their own personal journeys into medicine.
Experiential Immersion
Students learn what it’s like to be a medical student at the Keck School of Medicine and become more familiar with aspects of the MD program. They explore the unique aspects of Keck’s curriculum, observe how clinical skills are taught using standardized patients, and gain an inside look at what medical school is all about.
By the end of the event, you will tour Keck School of Medicine of USC and become familiar with the Health Sciences Campus and its available resources.
A Unique Opportunity
Our programming includes a networking lunch with a diverse group of KSOM medical student mentors, followed by a heartfelt welcome from Raquel Arias, M.D., Associate Dean of Admissions. The afternoon program includes an instructor-led didactic experience and an opportunity to tour the medical school, campus and facilities. This is a unique opportunity you won’t want to miss!
Envision your future!
