About the Program

Each Spring, the Pre-Health Advising Office runs the Applicant Review Program for students in preparation for health professional school applications. Led by the Executive Director, Dr. Molly Lancaster, the program involves structured support for participants including guided reflection, dynamic checklists, and personal statement review.  Space is limited to 55 students. Here’s an overview of our 2024 Health Professional School Applicant Review Program:

Dynamic Checklists

Two checklists are provided to help you navigate the modules in Blackboard and prepare for your advising appointments to optimize our feedback

Reserved Advising Sessions

We will reserve two appointments for you to meet with a staff advisor and/or director. Please do not book appointments through Calendly – we will send a private link for booking.

Professional Mentorship Coffee Chats

We have a special guest mentor, Dr. Rosa, who will be hosting coffee chats discussing the mindset and mental stamina needed to persevere through the application process.

Personal Statements

Every applicant will receive one review of their final personal statement upon successful completion of the program.

Guidance

Your success is our priority, and we are here to support you every step of the way. Feel free to reach out whenever you need guidance or have questions!

“Stay inspired, stay dedicated, and always believe in yourself. Your unique journey is something to be celebrated.”

Dr. Molly Lancaster, MCHES, PhD, Executive Director
