Biography

Alexander Jelloian is a PhD student in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Southern California. His research focuses on the political economy of developing countries, specifically in Sub-Saharan Africa. Broadly speaking, Alexander is interested in the political foundations of economic growth and how political phenomena influence economic policy. He holds a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and two Bachelor’s degrees from Whittier College.
