The POIR academic advising team advises for Political Science, International Relations, International Relations (Global Business), International Relations & the Global Economy, and Intelligence and Cyber Operations majors as well as a number of minors.
The mission of Dornsife Advising is to “support students as they navigate their undergraduate experience to form meaningful connections between their personal values and academic and professional pursuits. [Academic advisors] focus on the education of the whole student as they develop into global citizens who draw on their interdisciplinary knowledge to positively impact their communities.”
Academic Advisors will provide academic counseling on matters of curriculum, course selection, and university policies to ensure that INCO, IR, and POSC students meet all degree requirements. Additionally, they will provide academic resources such as information on study abroad programs, other campus resources, and assist in all academic-related questions.
Academic advising appointments are made by appointment only, Monday through Friday. Please see the information below on how you can schedule an advising appointment with an advisor.
